What can be the cause of iron taste in the mouth, and even smell like iron in the hands
Can it be a sympton of some desease, or can it be caused for some food?
Answer:The first thought that occurred to me was, "What medications, if any, are you taking?" Many meds or nutritional supplements can cause this problem. Sometimes this is a side effect, but sometimes it's an allergic reaction to or overdose of the med. Diabetes had also popped into my mind as a possibility, and I agree with the answer suggesting you see your doctor.
Be ready with all the answers to the medical history stuff -- how long has it been going on? what meds/foods/etc. have you had? are you pregnant (don't laugh -- hormones are a puzzle)? do you have mouth jewelry? loose fillings? You get the idea.
I did a quick search at Web MD (link below) and saw a few articles about toxins in fish -- sounds like another "see the doctor" thing.
Good luck with this!
some meds cause this. i think ambien does that.
either your bleeding, or chewing on iron
could be type 2 diabetes.go see a doc!
It could be a stroke.
Look it up on webmd.com
You just type in your symptoms and itll give you a list of what can be causing it.
It could be the water. Some places the underground water if not treated it could smell like iron and even your body will smell like iron, if you touch or take bath with this water. So please check whether your water is the culprit.
