on his scrotum that evidently was not there several days ago.
What could this be anyway since he is not sexually active and hasn't been for some time as he is 75 years old.
Answer:If the lump is inside his scrotum and is soft it is highly likely that it is just a common cyst or a fibrous benign mass. If it is very hard and fixed, there is cause to look further into it as this is symptomatic of a tumor. If it is very small and on the outside it is probably just a minor infection, nothing serious.
However, it is always wise to have any kind of mass checked by a physician.
