Lately, my hands feel like the veins are tightening. I also have ocassional minor pain in my hands; mostly my left hand. It feels like the muscles are extremely tight and aching. Ocassionally I even have a numb sensation.

I suffer from panic/anxiety attacks, and don't know if Iam overreacting or if this is something more serious.

I have had x-rays on my chest, and also, have had an EKG. My doctor says my heart is healthy.

I haven't noticed any lumps in my hands. I am right handed, so could using my left hand often, such as for typing cause this? Is it possible that I may have a blood clot? Has anyone else ever experienced this feeling?

Answer:

I had a clot once and my left arm and hand swelled up to 3 x its size. You need 6-8 glasses of pure water. What you have is "dehydration" so please read the website. Water will thin your blood. If I was a betting person, I'd put my money on it not being a clot. Blood Clots are typically very extreme sudden pain. It could be Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. That comes usually from repetitive movements with your hands. Such as typing.

If you ever get a blood clot in the arm for example, your arm will swell to the size of a giant's arm. Like in minutes. Or if your leg has a clot, the leg will get enormous.

In case that happens, go to emergency immediately, they will surgically remove that clot. If you do not go immediately, the result is amputation of that arm or leg.

I dont think you have a blood clot. Those are the symptoms above of a clot.

A clot on the brain is called a stroke. That type of clot immediately disables a person and sends them to the ground.

Get some physical exercise, like growing a garden, or painting your house, or anything where you exercise and exhert usage on your muscles.

The body is meant to be used. To be stressed physically. If one does not do that these sort of ailments you describe set in.
