what are the-names of the tests -which diagnose the cancer cells in human body
Answer:For the majority of cancers there are no tests that identify cancer cells in the human body. Basically a series of tests including blood work and diagnostic imaging can identify abnormalities which still doesn't mean cancer. The only way of really identifying cancer is through a biopsy of the tumor.
There are different tests- PSA for prostate CA, and other laboratory blood tests. There is also a test for tumor markers- I am not sure, but I think that there are some that use radioactive dyes to locate tumors. Biopsies are often taken so that the pathologist can look under the microscope to identify abnormal cells.
blood tests can diagnose leukemia, blood cancer. since ppl with blood cancer have a obviously much lower white blood cell, red blood cell and platelets count than normal ppl.
CA-125 is the most common blood test for cancer, usually takes 3-5 days for results. CAT-Scan and MRI are also used, but can detect cancer only if there is a marble-sized mass. Biopsy is another.
Those should be checked by a physician. Also a Pet Scan will identify further growth in other places if it exist.(Pet Scan ) not Cat Scan or MRI.
If you are asking about the pre-screening test for Breast Cancer and ovarian cancer then those tests are
