Food does NOT cause infection of the appendix. It is caused by an infection. You can eat whatever you wish. If it were your gallbladder then there are many foods that would aggraviate that but not the appendix.
Also if it was taken out you have nothing to worry about. The above answer is pertaining to colon problems with seeds like in diviticulitis, etc.
First you had your appendix removed, so as such you cannot now have a infection in your appendix. I had grumbling appendix in my teens and twenties, eventually found out it was due to uncooked green pepper, on the Pizza! All I did was remove the small squares of green pepper, still ate the Pizza and still have my appendix. As long as you have 'regular bowel movements' then all should be normal.
If you had your appendix removed, it cannot become infected. The only infection you really need to worry about is a surgical wound infection and since it's been a month since the surgery, your odds of that happening are pretty small. Assuming you had an uncomplicated surgery, at this point, you should be able to eat anything you ate before the operation.
appendicitis is not caused by any type of food. the appendix is a part of the intestine, between the small and large intestines, that ruptures when it gets infected and/or inflamed. when there is an obstruction (usually digested food) or the appendix gets inflamed, it enlarges and eventually ruptures.
if you've had your appendix taken out, you don't have to worry about it again.
