That information is false. Using condoms can prevent you from getting a disease. As long as you use a new condom each time (sorry for the gross visual of reusing a condom.EWWW) - there is no disease that you can get from using a condom.
You probably heard this from a certain user who has been exaggerating certain facts about condoms. He claims that they can give you cancer, are toxic, and ineffective.
Small traces of a carcinogen were found in condoms in a study, and certain people are allergic to latex condoms, which can be potentially fatal. BUT, this person has greatly exaggerated these dangers. Only 1% of people have a reaction to latex. The carcinogen nitrosamine that is found in some condoms is in many product we encounter on a regular basis: baby bottle teets, balloons, latex paints, rubber gloves, we are even exposed to it in our food in greater amounts than condoms! Doctors wear latex gloves for hours on a daily basis, and there is no abundance of hand cancer is there?
In a nut shell, condoms are safe, effective, and clinically proven to reduce the transmission of disease.
Maybe your thinking of a person who is allergic to latex. Use a condom every time you have sex please! It is not safe out there.
You will get a disease if you do NOT wear protection.
