Urine theraphy
Is it work?I read a lot from the internet but I'm not sure if it's work or not.Anyone who knows anybody who has done urine therapy and it's work??(serious answer only please)
Answer:As a healthcare provider I usually provide diagnosis and treatment according to a medical model, however, I am also very open to alternative therapy. But my medical training does make me try to find a logical physical reason as to why a certain therapy would work.and if it is detrimental in any way. Truthfully, I see no basis for this type of therapy, although, as long as you are healthy and there is no infection in the renal system, it is harmless. Urine is normally sterile and contains mostly water and a few body byproducts that your body needs to rid itself of. So , knowing that, I see little value. It would be easy to find alternative sources of anything that urine contains.although I still don't know why you would want to supplement yourself with any of them. If you need water.drink it.see what I mean? I must admit I have not read alot on this therapy and I try to be open to anything I do not know alot about..but on what I know.I don't get it...so therefore don't advise it or discourage it.
Urine therapy (note spelling) is an old practice and is considered a holistic treatment -- meaning it has no scientific backing. Speak to your doctor about it. I doubt you'll get your doctor's suuport.
