Suddenly under my eye (under my bottom eye lash) is very sore, red, and puffy. I have no idea what I could have done. Any ideas as to what this could be?

Answer:

I get this all the time! I know it's coming on when I feel like someone hit me in the eye, it's so sore! I usually find a white pimple-like bump on the inside of the lash area, near the puffiness.

I don't usually do anything to it, and it will go away in a day or so.

However, if a sticky discharge is also a symptom, it may be conjunctivitis, or pink-eye. I've had this before too, not often thank goodness! The lid is not puffy and red though, the white part of your eye is really red and blood-shot. The hit-in-the-eye feeling mixed with itchiness is present too. If this is the case, then you need to see a doctor asap!

From your description above, I think it's just the pimple thing and will go away soon.

Good luck!

If it is also itchy it could be a stye - infected eyelash pore. I get these all the time and the best 2 remedies I have found are warm wet washcloth and there are some drops at the drugstore I got over the counter I think Similsan or something like that - it takes the itch out.
its allergies, its spring the pollen is out and allergies is going to bother you
YOU MOST LIKELY HAVE A STEY. PRONOUNCED "STI". WASH W/WARM WATER FOUR TIMES A DAY AND STOP RUBBING IT W/DIRTY HANDS. IF NOT BETTER IN A FEW DAYS GO GET MEDICATED EYE DROPS FROM YOUR DOCTOR. DONT TAKE CHANCES W/YOUE EYES.
It could be the beginning of pink eye. When you wake up you will see that it has drained and left a crustiness to your lashes. If this is the case you will need antibiotic drops so call your doctor.
