im just wanting to know if any body out there knows a child with or who has had a traky tube.. my son is hopefully due to be decannulated soon and i want to know what to expect..

Hi I am a 17yr old female and I have a trach tube and I have had it all my life. In my opion I say that there is alot to expect from this big procedure that is getting done to him. Just a couple of things to say is that make sure that your son is not tooo close to sick people. and also i say that you should not be so afaris about all this to be done to your child, because it will give your child so much more freedom to do anything that he may want to do. I wish ya both the best of luck with all of this stuff that is gonna be done.
