I know that when your on topamax it makes you lose weight but has anyone had exeperience coming off of it? did you gain alot of weight once you were off of it? did you experience any seizure side effects after being on it for migraines?

I know several people who have been hospitalized, several times, with kidney stones, due to Topomax. Not everyone will have this side effect, of course. But if you're taking it for weight loss, it seems a risky way to do it. Migraines? It might be worth it.

I am almost off of topamax and have gained weight (almost 40 pounds!!) I am not happy about it. I am down to 25 mg a day and took it for migraines and so far, no seizure side effects.
