Theres a large red spot on my left breast please answer, Im scared
Two days ago I woke up and found a red patch/spot on my left breast on the upper side. It doesn't itch, it doesn't hurt. But it's a rather large, bright red spot/patch that seemed to grow overnight. When I press on it, it feels lumpy. It's slightly raised. Also, when I press on it, the redness disappears and reappears as soon as I stop pressing.
I've read a bit about inflammatory breast cancer and I am scared out of my mind. Can breast cancer even start out this way? With a red lump? I have no breast pains.
Any insight on what this could be? I'm only 22, I don't understand this at all. :(
Answer:Probably an hemangioma - a type of birthmark that can occur at any time in life. If you had breast cancer that had penetrated outward into the skin you would be in a world of pain and already know that you were very ill. See your internist or even better a good dermatologist and figure out where you go next. Hemangiomas often disappear after applying topic steroids or after laser treatment.

Call your Gynecologist and schedule an exam, you need to have that checked, do it ASAP!
Unfortunately, it is possible to have breast cancer at your age. Although this sounds like probably just an inflamed area on your breast, I think you should have it checked out as soon as possible.
See a doctor promptly!
You can't take any chances, the sooner they detect if its cancer, the more likely they can save your breast. Don't put an appointment off.
