Answer:

Chemo drugs can either be selective or non-selective. The non-selective drugs will kill anything it can including your healthy cells. In a cell's life cycle they perform functions that allow them to work. Chemo drugs will target those functions and stop them so the cell cannot live and the cell will eventually die. An example, we drink water everyday so we can stay hydrated, lets say that water was taken away - we would become dehydrated and eventually our bodies would stop working - these drugs are essentially "taking the water away" from cells.

These drug have to kill the cancer cells so their primary effect is to cause cell death. These drugs are not always able to tell the difference between our own cells and the cancer cell so our cells are killed in the process as well. It sounds like a terrible thing but its really the only way we can treat cancer and it will make you feel terrible and feel very sick. Stay strong and push through the sickness and pain. You can get through this.

It kills them. That's why if you don't already, you will feel like crap soon. I'm sorry, and i hope you recover.
Cancer is all about deterioration. The cells become weaker by losing their basic structure gradually.

Cancerous cells are killed in medication by taking drugs that stop their multiplication and also their being is infected by the drugs.
