I had a shunt and they think it went through that. What supplements are good because they basically sent me home saying there was nothing they could do. I dont trust vitamins or pill, but God. Although I know it is helpful to take certain supplemtns. Got any good ones?

A friend of mine had nine metastatic tumors in her brain and was also told there was nothing more to be done. At first she went home and did the supplement thing too, but than she got restless. The doctors had no idea what they were up against with that announcement to her. She is a fighter. She decided that she wanted to try Gamma knife to destroy the lesions in the brain. And, so, she talked her doctors into it.

You should check into Gamma knife surgery to see if it is a possibility in your case. (Stereotactic radiosurgery)

There is also a treatment using a Proton beam. There are a few facilities in the US offering this treatment, but your type of cancer needs to qualify. It might be worth looking into.

my mother was diagnosed with cancer tumors all over her organs. they sent her home with no hope. she then found this place in mexico not in t.j. but in that area her tumors were already so far gone that there was not nuch to do for her . but it did buy her another year when all the doctors here said maybe a month...other people she was there with have amazing stories of recovery. they pick you up on a shuttle free and take you to your appt and to the pharmacy there and bring you back to your car. the doctors are from the states but cannot practice there. go figure!. i cant remember the name but look that way towards mexico i promise you its your best bet.good luck

Are they saying that they cant do any more and you are going to die or that they cant do any more because you are cured? I noticed that you posted that you had successfully fought the brain tumour 3 months ago after radiation which is fantastic, your question implies that something has changed.
