Answer:

I had/have the SAME problem.

The issue is that you have EXTEAMLY sensitive lips.

Meaning, without constant moisture, your lips, and the skin around you'r lips start to chap.

To really get rid of it get madicated chapstick or blistex medex. It burns when you first put it on but thats a good thing, trust me. It means its working to get your mouth back to normal. And the process takes some time, about 5 days or so. So be patient. Eventually you'r skin'll be as good as new.

Make sure you keep chapstick on hand wherever you go. That way, you can try to keep it from happening again.

P.S. Keep using the cream from the doctor. Use it as much as the presciption says to use it.

Bite it off.
omg it must hurt. i really dont know what you should do but you should have started putting chap-stick when you noticed it peeling. i wish you lots of luck
Try using chapstick, or Carmex. Actually Carmex is better. It helps to heal chapped or dried lips. Did the doctor say why your lips are chapped?
Sounds like a burn, either chemical from acidic food, salt, or even capsaicin such as from hot peppers; or from sunburn, windburn, or temperature-hot foods or drinks.
