Answer:If you were diagnosed by a doctor, surely the doctor also told you what to do about it! If you want some good advice on the treatment from the 'Net, then read these: http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/infec... and http://familydoctor.org/online/famdocen/...
These will tell you that mono goes away on its own. But it will go away more comfortably if you take it easy, get lots of rest, drink lots of fluids, and take a Tylenol every now and then. Plan on feeling bad for 3-4 weeks.
Mono has been known to last for up to a year. I know that is scary, but it is very rare that it will last that long. For now all you can do is not share anything, dont kiss anyone on the lips or drink from anyone else's cup.
Drink pleanty of water and take vitamins that promote the immune system
Mono can last for months, sorry but your screwed
damm im sorry mono that sux
SOOO many people at my school have mono right now (so i am being really careful) but its not that bad... after a few weeks you will feel better. and after 6 months you wont be contagous anymore. You are past the hardest part (im assuming you already had your blood taken) and if you havnt, dont worry its no big deal.
