I cut my big toe on Saturday night in my friends car on the metal under the seat.
What are my chances of getting tetanus? It's quite a deep cut and was bleeding for half an hour or so.
Answer:You shoud go to a doctor and if you havent' had a vaccine in less then 10 years you should get one as soon as possible. Tetanus, as you might know, is a fatal condition!
You need to get a tectanus shot...call your doctor, it's simple, walk in, roll up the shirt, get a shot, walk out.
when was your last tetanus shot? they are good for 10 yrs. If you start developing lockjaw, definately go to the ER
