Testosterone and Cancer

I am a male getting on with my age and I know my testostrone levels are down its an aging thing. What I don't know is if I take the patch what is my risk factor as far as getting cancer? Anyone know the answer?

I know our situation is different but husband has to have testosterone patches after he had pituitary surgery to remove a tumour back in 2000. He has been fighting cancer again since 2004 but we have no idea if the patch is related as it has helped give him more energy.
