I think the most effective cream on the market is Canestan or if very irritating the combi one which come in a tablet and cream form. Always wear cotton underwear to let breathe coz thrush is a fungal yeast infection !
I know a herbalist who swears by the following: cucumber and avocado mixed with a little salt and inserted into the vagina! All natural and healing and relieves the embarrassing itch!
Canesten cream or tablets work well to get rid of the infection, but to stop it from recurring, try to always wear 100% cotton pants and use a non-perfumed soap. The stabilisers in the soap can cause more irritation and make your problem worse.
