Teenage acne - how to control a break out
So, I'm having a BIG problem. I'm a teenager, so as you can imagine, my acne ain't that pretty. But two weeks ago, it wasn't that bad. In fact, I was proud of my face compared to my friends. Their parents even complimented me saying I had clear skin! Granted I had the pimples here and there that come with being a teenager, and the red skin - but still. I was fine.
Now, here I am today, TOTALLY breaking out. It's horrible, and disgusting, and I do-not-want to step outside. Problem is, I've started a medication called Topamax. I'm dealing with many of the side effects, and one of them is severe acne. My parents cannot afford ANY acne medications (gosh I hate them) so I need some at-home remedies. If people who have or are in my shoes could help me out, I would be so appreciative.
Answer:just rinse your face, dont use any of the ones that reduce oil, they dry your skin and make it worse. i think that you should steam your face, with essential oils in the water, for relaxing and refreshing steam. it totally clears your skin, and also before you go to bed, you should use toners, and moisturisers that dont contain alot of oil. they should work great. i hope i helped. there is also another option. proactive is great, it works good without drying, you just have to use it regularly. good luck
Wash your face 5 times a day. Do not wear makeup on your face and try a cheap astringent.
Stop eating candy, pizza-face.
Hi, applying cucumber slices to the face is a great home remedy for breakouts. Also make sure to wash your face morning and night with a gentle cleanser. If you want more, check out http://www.realhomeremedies.com... and click on the acne link on the left menu.
try peroxide after you clean your face or talk to your Dr. about a diff medication without the severe side effects
