Happy tanning...next time will be better just take it a little slower. The first 3-4 times you really don't notice a difference but by week 2 you will become very brown or even a bronze color depending on your skin type.

Did you use lotion? You could be allergic to the lotion. You shouldnt go into the tanning bed for more than 10 miuntes your first time!!
When you tan in the "off" season your skin is usually drier from the cooler temps and inside heating.
The itch is quite normal, and is treated with any good commercial lotion or oir.
I think oils work better.

its itchy cause its healing. its takes a few days i wouldnt go back till 3 or 4 days...how long did u lay??
i dont use tanning lotion either...but i use lotion daily,you tan faster if you dont have dry skin.
