I recently started going to a tanning salon. The last time I went I used the booth instead of the bed. I've noticed that I'm getting a itchy rash on my stomach and back. Is this from the taning booth?
Answer:Tanning to fast. Your skin is reacting to too much exposure. Slow down try waiting more time between sessions.
I've been tanning for years, have had this problem before.
It's very possible. next time think about trying someting like Mystic Tan instead (safer all around than tanning in sun or beds). You can do a search online to read all about it.
are you sure its a rash?? sometimes after you go to the tannin bed you will itch.
it could be that the bed wasn't cleaned properly or maybe its just a reaction from the bulbs. i would defiantly stop going until the rash goes away..if you still want to go try another salon and see if it happens there. if not then you'll know it was just that one place.
