Surgery works well for psvt
i have had psvt 3 or 4 times in 10years .it happened when i was playing ball game with really tired body or on certain medicine . last year it happened .heart rate was really fast .i was scared .now i m still a little bit worried about it .and my life has been kinda restricted by it ...do i need a surgery ? is it with risk ? or any other good way to cope with it and living freely ? i need accurate information .thanks a lot .

1) try a deep hard cough
2) Bare down as if you were trying to push out a baby
3) Put your face in a bowl of cold water.
These simple tricks may be enough to stop the rapid heart rate.
Other wise the Doctors may suggest laser ablation. But first they would have to try to put you into the fast rate so they know where it is coming from. Then they use a laser to burn the pathway from the spot causing the problem.
