Hi!
My two year old has pretty severe eczema. I was wondering what type of sunscreen is best for him. I already know no fragrance and such, perhaps a specific brand and if you have tried it.
Thanks!
Answer:Arbonne's baby line has a sun screen it's one of the best on the market for babies or children with eczema.
talk to a dormatologist do not take anyone's advice
For my daughter I have used neutrogena sensitive skin hypoallergenic and Coppertone oil free hypoallergenic. I prefer the Coppertone. She complained of a little burning with the neutrogena but not a word with the other.
You can experiment with sunscreans to find one that works well and dosen't trigger the child with eczema. Generaly try avoin gels and look for sun blocks that are titanium dioxide based and ones that are designed for children with sensitive skin. ANd the ovious were a hat, sunglasses, long sleeve t-shirt and just try avoid being in the sun excessive. A good tip I like is if your shadow is taller than you are you should try stay in the shade.
