i got a really bad sunburn today.
it really hurts and i have no clue what to do.
my sister says to take a piping hot shower and that that works for her... does it work... or will it make it worse.
what else can i do?!
Answer:Try taking a cool bath !! Don't put anything on it !! If you try taking a hot shower it will hurt like h*ll . I think your sister is pulling your leg ! Aloe Vera gel can be applied after your bath . Don't put any kind of lotions or greasy based stuff on it this just holds the heat in and you'll hurt even more !! Hope this helps !
aloe vera gel or noxema works wonders and takes the sting out of the burn.
Put Aloe vera on it or put milk on it (milk will turn it into a tan though)
vinegar works well for getting the sting out as well just pour it on a wash rag and place it on there till you feel the heat leaving as for the shower it helps but don't get to hot or you well just feel even worse but how bad is the burn you may need to go to the doctor if there is blisters
best of luck and stay out of the sun till you heal other wise it will be worse
