Sun kills germs, but can I clean myself of germs just by standing under the sun
No. In fact, being in the sunlight has an immunosuppressive effect, which means that going tanning/getting a sunburn/being out in the sun will actually decrease your ability to fight off infections. Ever get a coldsore after a day at the beach? Ever break out after being in the sun for a few hours? There's a reason for this. Coldsores are caused by common cold viruses which your body can normally fight off. Acne is caused by a bacteria (p. acne). Sunlight causes a systemic immunosuppressive effect (your entire body is less able to fight off infection) which is why you get problems like coldsores and acne breakouts after you go in the sun. I hope this clears things up.
No, try soap and water
not unless ur butt naked
no id say not you will still need to shower or bathe to cleanse yourself.
No. I'd recommend soap and water to kill germs. Autoclaves use steam and heat to kill germs, are you going to sit in one through a cycle? Fire kills germs too.
sun doesn't kill all germs...in fact many thrive in warm moist places...idk who told you that...
yes, you are germ free
I believe it only kills germs when the subject has thoroughly dried...therefore, I don't think so that it can kill your germs while sweating under the hot sun...lol..
i never herd of the sun killing germs
not all germs are bad
There are two further beneficial effects of sunlight. Firstly it upregulates the manufacture of vitamin D in humans when sunlight is incident upon skin surfaces. Secondly, the use of sunlight in lieu of artificial light to illuminate building interiors avoids certain adverse health effects of over-illumination by electric lights.
When I was in the service and I couldnt take a bath for a few months I would sun bath and air out my clothes -survival books also talk of this in areas where water is not available
No pal, all you get is sunburn and probably skin cancer too.
