Suggest three ways in which the chances of developing antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria may b
1) less prescribtion of antibiotics to pateints (this is a very minor thing compared to number 3)
2)pateints should complete the course of antibiotic treatment (because the ones which are still alive at the very end of the treatment are the stronger ones which are likely to develop resistance so they have to be illeminated .. usually people find themselves getting better they stop taking the drug but they dont know they making a bigger damage)
3)less antibiotics should be given to healthy animals .. about 80-90% of antibiotics are given to healthy animals just 'to be on the safe sode' it is a part of their normal food in the large farms and meat production units .. antibiotics also promote growth to these animals so they are given in dosens !!
