Explain why:-

Streptomycin inhibits the growth of bacterial cells?

Thnaks

Answer:

Haven鈥檛 heard of this one (70s ribosome).but I've heard of antibiotics that fight strep by binding to the 50s or 30s ribosomes thus inhibiting protein synthesis. If this occurs, the bacteria can no longer replicate...and the infection ends. Best of Luck!
