Also get tired, weak, my body & head feels empty. I just dont feel right. I can't function or think. All I want to do is lay down. I have been getting this on and off for 2 years now. It last for about a week at a time. I have been told its Fibromyalgia by doctors but I dont buy it. Had MRI's, blood work, crazy tests, I just want a real answer. Any ideas?
Answer:I'm sorry for your problem, but if you've been told by doctors, (meaning more that 1) than why do you question the diagnosis?
You know your own body better than anyone else. If something doesn't feel right to you, don't take the doctors' word for it that it is fibromyalgia. Is it possible that you are depressed? Depression can be a very debilitating illness, and it can certainly cause the symptoms you are describing. Find a doctor that might be willing to work with you on this. There are many very helpful antidepressant medications available. I am on an antidepressant and I feel ten years younger since I started taking it. And I didn't even know I was depressed in the first place! Good luck, I hope you are able to find the answer.
