Stomach cancer
people say that stomach cancer are for thsoe who are over age 50 , but what are the factors that cause teenagers to have that cancer because i hear some teenagers die from it.
Answer:It is not stomach cancer but it is close. My teenage son has an abdominal sarcoma that predominately strikes boys and young adults. It presents as multiple large tumors growing through out the abdominal and pelvic area. Many people confuse it with stomach cancer but it is not. His sarcoma has no primary location other than floating free and attaching to various organs, tissues, and structures in the body. It is a devastating childhood cancer.
There is absolutely no known cause for this type of cancer. There are a few clues though about it . . for some reason it is almost 4 to 1 a disease that strikes young males. Causes could be related to growth spurts, testosterone, or hormonal levels . . no one is really certain. The age group for this disease stretches from five years old to about forty years old.
Females who have this disease are almost always misdiagnosed as having uterine or ovarian cancer.
