I really despise it when people make that assumption, however logical it may seem.

Please give details on location of the pain specifically, the duration, the type (throbbing, sharp, dull etc), and whether changing position helps it feel better.

I've concluded, and so has my MD girlfriend (well shes about to start residency whatever that makes her), that when I was young I suffered from undiagnosed duodenitis. I still have symptoms today, but antacids all but cure me. When I was young I'd sit in random positions to avoid the pain, eventually that position would heart worse. I'd always end up in a fetal postion it seems. Let me know if that sounds similiar.

I have the similar symptoms in certain stressful situations, if these symptoms regularly occur at times when you are nervous you should ask your doctor about anti-anxiety medications, try them out next time you know you will be in a stressful situation and see what happens.
Are you lactose intolerant? Meaning milk allergy. This sounds like it. I had it when I went to school, and all I had to do was avoid milk.
I have the similar problem, - however I vomit and feel uneasy the entire morning when I eat wrongly during breakfast or skip it.

what I do is

avoid coffee, tea especially for bloating/wind. Start your day with plain water and a glass of milk. Breakfast with warm toast would be light.
