Spider Bite

Three days ago I notice what appeared to be a bug bite or ingrown hair in my pubic area (red inflamed, etc. but w/ no whitehead). Two days ago the right side groin area felt chaffed but did not look irritated. Since then I have grown successively more sore from the "Bite area" around my hip and now into the small and middle of my back. I am married and havent been with anyone other my wife since we met 4 years ago so its not an STD. Does this sound like something that will go away on its own or do I need to see a doctor?

Answer:

If you even suspect that it's a bite, go see a doctor. It's definitely not an STD, but could be any number of potentially debilitating skin conditions. Rule of thumb -- if it's getting worse, go see a doctor.

See a doctor. Be sure to tell him/her about all the symptoms & when they manifested themselves.
well if it is a bite then you still need to see a doctor. Even if you know what it is but it gets worse then you need to see a doctor. and if you think that you have a bite go to the doctor to see if it is poisonous that way it cant get worse . but yea you definitely need to see a doctor about it i dont know what it is that you described but it sounds bad. if you dont go see the doctor it could just keep getting worse so.. go see the doctor definitely!
Better seek some treatment as its definitely bacteria infection. You may need some antibiotics cream to be applied directly on it (to be prescribed by a doctor) if u have no other symptoms. It may go away if its not serious, I am not sure how serious is it now as our body will always be able to fight bacteria. But an experience doctor will be able to tell u from the diagnosis. Its also better to get a pesticide spray to fume your room and clean up the bed area. Seek help early, some nasty bacteria can kill a person within a few hours. There was a case where a man was dead within a few hours from a cut while preparing crabs for dinner. Apparantly, the bacteria was flesh eating and he died from an innocent scratch on the skin.
