Sphincter of Ody Type 3

My husband has been diagnosed with the above condition. The pain has recently gone from moderate to severe. Does anyone have the same condition? Have you found an effective way to treat it?

sphincter of oddi is a sphincter, your husband probably has dysfunction of this sphincter, i think pain killers buy time and the eventual treatment is sphincterotomy if symptoms do not resolve on their own, see a general surgeon or a gastroenterologist, get more info on familydoctor.org, or mayoclinic.com good luck
