Do not think that the boy or girl you're kissing has to have visible sores. There is a myth that if the sores are gone herpes cannot be transmitted. It can be spread through kissing regardless if the sores are present or not at the time.

yes you can. the STD is in your DNA, your DNA is transferred to the person your kissing (or one of you could have accidentally bitten their tongue or cheek and the STD gets transferred through the cut) Or maybe you didnt bite yourself, maybe you ATE something and it caused tears that you didnt even know about (which in most cases happens)
