Should I take it out

health advisory Hospital Diseases 2007-11-12 20:34:43

Well, I'm allergic to tree pollen. As a result my eyes itch like hell, turn pink, and this white discharge always covers my iris so its hard for me to see cause its blurry. 80% of them are always going over my iris but I'm scared to take it out thinking I will ruin my eyesight.

Eyedrops (I use Naphcon-A)only help for about 2 hours then it starts up again. I've tried Benadryl, Dimetapp, and Claritin allergy medications but none of them seem to help me.

Should I take the eye gunk out or leave it until it goes to the bottom of my eye so I can take it out?

Any medications for allergy related symptoms like itchy, pink eyes, itching of the nose and throat, sneezing and coughing for a 14 year old?

Oh and I hate taking pills but if its a good medication I guess I'll try it.

Thanks!

Answer:

Talk to your doctor about prescribing eye drops for your allergies. Zaditor and Patanol are good ones to try.

sounds like a cat allergy, u have pet cats?

wash your face real well, (perhaps dial antibacterial liquid)

foam up good, then rinse with hot and then cold water.

cool compresses should help your eyes or a cool teabag.

Use Visine also.

Get some Sudafed syrup for daytime and some Vicks vapor rub.

Get rid of carpets, keep steam and houseplants in the house.

Run air conditioner to keep pollen out.

Stuff animals will make allergy worser, put in a clear bag or clean them with germx.
