Sharp pain in right side
Most times when I realise I need to urinate I get a sharp pain in my right side below my rib and I sometimes wake up with a bad cramp like feeling where my kidneys are and in my back? What could this be? I've been tested for std's, thrush and I'm all clear? I had a water sample and she gave me kidney infection tablets just incase,I took them and it stopped for a while but it's back again? What could it be?
I barely ever drink alcohol and I drink plenty of water? It doesn't burn when I urinate and I don't seem to have other symptoms yet. I'm also on the combined contraceptive pill and sometimes amitriptyline (sleeping pill).
Any ideas?
Answer:When you realize you need to urinate, does this not come naturally? Get another sample of urine tested, rule out kidney infection and it might be bladder infection, if not sand or stones.

maybe you pulled a mussle or something it could be u broke your rib i don't know you might have to go to a specialist or somethin caz it sounds odd maybe you have liver cancer or something i really haven't a clue
you know what the same thing happens to me. but i get fevers do you get them? i actually have the pain right now, 2 weekends ago i had the pain on my right side and now its on my left. u might want to go to the doc so they could give u antibiotics. i have been hospitalized from kidney infections for a week and i was pregnant, you might want to go get it checked out again
