Scaley, itchy red rashes on arms and legs

It started on my legs in possibly Dec/Jan. I thought my skin was really dry & itchy from the dry air here during winter. I believed I was scratching it too much, & that's why it was getting red & rashy. Well, now, I'm noticing many of these rashes (no bigger than an inch & a half) on my arms & legs.
I am calling my doctor today. I was just wondering if anyone had any clue on what it could be - an allergic reaction of some sort, stress/anxiety maybe, even something more serious.

Answer:Could be contact dermatitis, from an allergy to something you've touched, but it could also be excema. It is impossible to say, without a Medical degree.
Sounds like eczema.
sounds like psoriosis,mine is effected worse in the winter,go to docs to find out for sure
