can taking a pulmonsary funtion test, spirometer and other test for asthma come up negative because of medications like singulair and advair?

Answer:

Yes.

Textbook-wise, you're not supposed to take any bronchodilators the morning prior to your Pulmonary Function Test. Advair does have a long acting Beta-2 Agonist (bronchodilator), so it can have an effect on your test.

As for singulair, it's moreorless an anti-inflammatory an would not likely affect FEF25-75 on a PFT. You can read more about it as it's a Leukotriene antagonist:

Good luck
