Please give advice to decrease pain with Fibromyalgia
Mostly in legs and I have no energy.
Answer:Fibro stinks, I've been dealing with the pain for 3 years. The pain I deal with is terrible. Neck, shoulders, low back, rt hip, rt leg and headaches. I've done my own research to try and figure out what was wrong because the doctors had done MRI's, X-rays, PT, medications...
Yoga, Meditation, exercise, making sure I don't over do it physically.(Which is kind of hard to do some days.) Massage helps a lot as well. Fibro causes calcification in the muscles, the massage helps to break up the calcification. Lots of fluid to flush that crud out when you do get massages, do yoga and exercise.
Some herbals can help as well, I haven't tested them on myself yet but you can do research online to find various herbal teas, infusions and the like that can help with symptoms of Fibro. I am currently growing my herbals for future use. :)
Sleep is a big issue for fibro sufferers, make sure you get into a sleep pattern and maintain it. This is important, as well as eating well too. I always feel tired, no matter how well I've slept.
If you have general pain, tylenol, advil, these sorts of meds help. Tramadol as well. Localized pains, trigger point injections will be required most likely.
Make sure your doctor will listen to you. Unlike mine, My fibro is terrible, without much help from my current doctors. Every time I went in for refills of pain meds they'd make me feel like some druggie. So I've opted to deal with the pain as best I possibly can on my own until I can harvest my herbals growing in my yard. Then I will take care of myself. Without some doctor making me feel worse then I already do!
Best of luck to you.
Dietary changes can make a big difference. Eliminating sugar, gluten, and casein often help. Also enzymes to help digest problem foods work well for some people. One common one is Nofenol, it breaks down phenolic compounds.
Good luck
