You're in luck, because ideally, the best place for the eye is in the eyelid. However, if you meant that you have a Stye in your eyelid, then I'll bet you're having some discomfort!
I'm not a doctor, but I'll tell you what I would do: Get some no-tears baby shampoo and a clean washcloth, and using warm water to wet the eye area, gently wash it (with your eye closed, of course) and then rinse well. Pat it dry with a clean towel. Do this twice daily. When you're done with each wash, put the washcloth and towel you use in the laundry so no one else will use it.
Also, use a very warm (not hot) washcloth as a compress on your eye for about five minutes, twice a day, preferably before the washing process.
If you don't get some relief within a couple of days, you should probably call your doctor or optometrist and get some optical ointment.
