my wife has been recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.

now there are several questions arising inside me...

will diabetes make her gain weight? will she enjoy sex ??

i ve heard that diabetic women are not very intrested in sex...so is it goin to ruin our sex life? will she be able to give birth normally?are there any more complications we have to look for and be prepared?? plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help

A friend of mine has had diabetes since he was 12. It hasn't affected his sex life, he hasn't gained weight. He has, from time to time, experienced eye problems. But, medicine and regular trips to the doctor seem to keep him rolling along.

Don't worry.As a human being we have to face several problems in our life. As for the giving birth and enjoyment in sex you will not find much of problem if she is of cooperative in nature. Just maintain restricted food habit and regular exercise. She may be having family history. Don't allow her to put on weight. Actually a diabetic person can lead healthy and long life provided if they take care properly.
