My chest keeps breaking out how do i stop this and how do i get rid of the scars from old breakouts

reccomend a body-wash plz too????

There is no real cure for acne. But there are some ideal techniques that you can try in caring for your skin that can minimize breakouts.

One: Just to start, I would go to a licensed aesthetician at a nearby spa to get an evaluation for your skin type and what type of products you are sensitive to and what types of products are ideal for you. If you can afford it I would invest in a deep cleaning facial (including the chest area) to clear your current breakout. This way you can start caring for your skin with a clean slate. Two: Wash regularly, but not too abrasively. You don鈥檛 want to scrub the skin in this area and cause further irritation this could perpetuate scarring. But you do want to wash excess oils away regularly (once or twice a day) to reduce breakouts. Dove is an ideal soap or body wash for sensitive skin.

Three: Wash, Exfoliate, Treat, and Protect. You will want to wash your chest area alone with a product containing salicylic acid or glycolic acid to reduce bacteria. Try a pumice or light scrub to remove dead skin that may potentially clog pores. A spot treatment will reduce redness, and scarring, and will help breakouts to clear faster. SUNSCREEN is mandatory in the day (whether it is sunny outside or not) to minimize scarring and sun damage).
