Why has my workout stop giving me the results as before
I'm 23 and have been overweight all my life, I started working out in August of 2006 so its 8 months and I was a 50 inch waist and now im a tight 36 loose 38. I wont weigh myself till the end of march. But its so hard to go down to a loose 36. Why I lost it so fast but now im on a halt. Any advice on loosing more? My goal weight is 180lbs and 32 waist. I workout for 3hrs at a time. I can run 2 full miles and alot of weights. My body still looks saggy no muscles yet. And I diet like crazy sometimes fasting for a day. But I can't loose it fast like i did before. I used to feel really good after a workout but now its so BLAH! so anyone know whats going on? I'm ot giving up at all but any tips would help
Answer:you need to change your workout routine to avoid boredom. You should focus on one body part to workout. It is good to change some of your routine frequently so that way you muscle will not get use to the same technique, such as you can use dumbbell to do bench press instead of barbell, rotate everytime you train. If you keep doing the same thing over and over your muscle will stay the same and will not grow. You may want to increase weight if you can do 6 to 8 repetitions easily.

I too am going through the same problem. As we get rid of weight our body gets use to it and stabilizes. You may need to change you're diet or you're work out routine to shock you're body into responding. It just takes time I my self have taken off 110lbs.It's tough just have to keep at it and don't give up. If you want to just tighten up the muscles of you're stomach try laying a 5-10 lb. sugar bag across you're stomach and only do 1/2 sit ups to stretch the muscles.
dont fast, what you are doing is depleting energy stored, eat six small meals a day, drink plenty of water, take protein drinks and amino acids, m ake sure you have one for breakfast lunch and dinner supplementing a meal, if you are trying to bulk up, with your muscles, then these three exercise are the best, you can define your muscles once you have reached your goals for your weight loss, bench press, pull ups, and squats, never lift alone, always have a spotter, and make sure you take some kind of vitamin supplement for men.
