Why dont my biceps and forearms get sore anymore after I work out (please read below)
I used to work my biceps and forearms with triceps and I would absolutely feel sore the next day, but now I changed it up so that I work my chest, biceps and forearms on the same day. I work my chest first and then move on. My chest is nice and sore the next day but I don't feel it in my forearms and biceps.
And I know that many of you are going to say "change up your routine...your body adapted" but I started thisnew routine recently.
Answer:Let put the reason why you are not sore aside. I'm bold to say many hard working trainees in the gym get a dead wrong idea about bodybuilding:
To grow or to make sure you have a good work-out, you need to have:
Good pump
Good burn
Soreness afterwards
But you DO NOT need these 3 things to grow! To be continued...
I can get a good pump immediately by doing just one set of high reps. And to get sore is quite easy, just increase the number of sets or reduce the rest time between sets, also for your biceps you just do underhand chin-up in a very slow manner (both up and down) for high reps and high sets. Pyramid sets also work for your need of soreness and pain, but I will advise you not to do that. But the fact is = you will overtrain yourself without knowing, and you will ask this: why am I not gaining since I work hard and get sore every time?
You want to grow, you need just stimulation and continuous overloading of your muscles (not soreness, sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't), eating well and enough, and quality sleep (that's when your muscles grow)
