I wear a size zero. I am not too skinny. I am 5'3". I weigh 106 pounds. People are so prejudiced against people who wear zeros. Not everyone who wears a zero is anorexic. Because I'm not.

Answer:

I think it's because some people might be happy at a size 6 or 8 and then society and the media starts telling you size 0 is good and size 6-8 is suddenly fat. I'm only 5ft2 myself and I'd have to be 90lb-100lb max to be a true size 0 (measurements 31-23-33). I'd actually hate to be that small (no offence) because I know I'd look terrible, but there is this wierd pressure that being thinner is somehow better and more acceptable....it's like a subtle brainwashing, even though I know I'd be very unhappy at that size.

I have no problem with people who are naturally that small, but I do have a problem when people start pressuring others who might be happy with their size to be thinner. I'm 5ft2 and a size 6-8 and even from the comments here, I'm made to feel this isn't good enough. I'm not against size 0 per-se, but I'm against the pressure to be size 0 and being short does not mean it's okay to be a size 0. If you are small boned and not underweight like yourself, it's fine. But in my case, it's not.

Yeah, I agree. I'm 4'11" and about 100-105ish pounds and people always say I don't weigh enough. Well, hello? You're 5'5" (the people who say that) and I'm not even 5 feet tall!
