Why am i Not losing weight
I lift 5 days a week, do cardio 4-5 days a week and eat very healthy. A sample meal day:
1) 6 egg whites,
1 packet of instant oatmeal,
1/2 cup of oats,
1 tbs of peanutbutter
2) 1 scoop of whey protein,
peanut butter sandwhich on whole wheat,
salad,
( then no xplode and lifting)
3) creatine with 8 0z of apple juice,
can of tuna,
2 slices of whole wheat bread,
salad,
4) muscle milk(350 calories)
( cardio workout)
5) Chicken,
1 yam,
salad,
6) muslce milk right before bed
* salad is just plain amercan salad(dole type) and calorie free italian dressing
-i also feel bloated most of the time
I have been doing this for 5 weeks now
Answer:Looks like you need a lot more protein and probably more complex carbs.
Sometimes muscle adds weight.
Don 't use the scale muscle weights more than fat.
Use a cloth measuring tape and judge your loss by inches not pounds
A) you're gaining muscle mass, (and you're ingesting a lot of protien) and B) cut out the stupid creatine! That MAKES you retain fluids! Not to mention that a 350 calorie 'snack' of muscle milk is pretty hefty, even if you are lifting. You really are better off just eating healthy, rather than taking all of the suppliments. Most of them are very high in calories and are meant to help you gain.
