Which is Better Exercising 20-30 min a days vs Hour to hour 1/2 2-3X week
Today, after avoiding the gym for much too long- I got there right before closing and did a quick 25 minute workout with resistance a cardio. I feel great and probably won't be sore tomorrow. DO you think that is is better to work out like this, almost everyday- sort of like "baby steps" for someone like me. Or is it better to set aside the time, and really really work out hard for more than an hour? Then have a recovery day or two and do it again? Or maybe a very prolonged activity like hiking or biking for several hours and not again for another week?
Answer:it's better to exercise regularly even for just 20-30 mins a day than doing it sporadically and working out so much. what i used to do before was go jogging for 10 rounds around the subdivision. i do it once a week. it didn't make any difference. i just got myself tired because there wasn't any follow up for that work out.
i believe that consistency and moderation are the keys. you can probably just progress when your regular work out becomes too easy for you to do.
daily exercise for atleast 30 mins is better for your health ... try focusing on 4 days excersice for every alternate days...
I think the right way is to exercise 3 days in a week,1.5 - 2 hours each exercise.
Exercising every day is kinda unhealthy. You need to let your muscule's cells to renew and rebuild themselves after every exercise, which means you must take an appropriate time for that - a one day break, and eat foods enriched with proteins.
I prefer a good hike or mountain bike ride, once or twice a week. The amount of exercise depends on the climb, and how many miles you go.
