Which do you think would help me to lose weight better: a membership at YMCA or joining curves
If I get a membership at ymca I can do different types of classes or just work out when I want to, I am just afraid that I will get bored with curves doing the same thing everyday, any oppinions?
Answer:If you are disciplined, I would say go for the cheaper choice - the YMCA. There are a vast variety of programs and options. My friend was a trainer at Curves and these women usually do not have a lot of time, but need to lose the weight. Curves is a hands on place. She was always excited over the weeks about how many inches people would lose after just 30 minutes of the circuit. If you need that extra motivation and you are short on time, choose Curves. Otherwise, if you are disciplined and can work alone, choose YMCA. Also, modify your eating habits because working out alone doesn't do it. Good luck!
Join YMCA.. curves in only 30mins of excersice a day.. which isnt enough.. its usualy for adults and u can never do anything u feel like...So Gym is much better
The YMCA
I have lost over 100 lbs in less than a year. Curves is a get in and out as quick as possible.
The Y has cardio machines, as well as free weights, and thats where the real weight loss comes from.
That plus clean eating.
I am the wife of a Marine, so I can go to the gym for free, or curves. I know curves is not as good as free weights.
sry but not this or this you can only do it from your self you can eat less than you eat
At curves, you only stay on one machine for about 30 seconds to a minute, I believe. You continually have to switch machines. I would go with the YMCA, because then you can work out on what parts of your body you want, for as long as you want.
Neither one will do you any good unless you pick an exercise routine designed to help you lose weight along with the proper diet. This is not a rush-into-it- then give-up-in-3-months because you aren't losing weight.
