I do Gymnasticsand i always get hungry any ideas?
Answer:They say carbs stick with you the longest. I know for a fact the food and the sleep not the night before your sporting event but two nights before your big game/ meet is the meal and sleep that counts the most. My athletic trainer in high school always told me that marinara sauce slows you down. Try good carbs for the two nights before gymnastics and then eat low sugar fruit the day of so you dont crash
try some pasta it's loaded with carbs (plenty of energy) and should get you through practice
a banana
Spaghetti. It helps you carb load, as well.
Oatmeal. It gives you energy and sticks to you for a while.
Apples, carrots, bananas. Just eat something healthy to keep your body going.
a good carbohydrate that will put enough energy into your body to last=take along Gatorade to help when thirsty
If you are a softball player, the best thing from what I hear to eat is a teammate.
