What is the class Physical Development(Weightlifting) about

Has anyone in high school taken the class Physical Development...also refered to as Weightlifting class?

I know you lift weights and all

but is that it?

How do you get grades?

Any classwork?

Anything else i need to know about the class?

I mean...is that it u lift weights?

Does the teacher teach you how to lift weights or do u go in the first day and get started?

Answer:

You will actually learn how to work out safely.

Warm ups,warm downs,streching,etc.

It will also touch on nutrition and nowdays emotional health.

You are not suppose to be lifting weights on the first day. Orientation only.


you'll do some lifts at the start to judge your strength. i'm not sure which ones, but bench press will definitely be in there. Then you'll have a baseline strength to go on.

If you bench 200 at the start and 6 weeks later you improve to 250, then you get an A.
