The best way i found to learn about vitamins is to find out which foods contain them and one at a time deplete yourself of one specific vitamin for example say vitamin C
If you eat all of the other vitamins you normally would but avoid taking in any foods with vitamin C eventually you will know or your brain will what it feels like to have a shortage of vitamin C. When you are able to notice the difference then replenish your vitamin C at double the normal recommended amount and your body will first feel how it reacts to the return of normal levels of vitamin C and later it will experience what it is like to have an overabundance of vitamin C.
Your body will remember the experience and when you are low of vitamin C at some distant future time , it will crave foods with vitamin C in them.
Boy, i could really go for a ... right now.
If you teach your body about vitamins this way it will learn more than you could possibly understand.

B's are for the nervous system and brain. Some say B vitamins help with energy in fighting fatigue. Each B vitamine does something a little different but all the B's need each other to be fully absorbed by the body.
Some say B Vitamins increase memory. I know that most American's don't get enough B's and Calcium (Calcium is also good for the nervous system and bones.)
Calcium, magnesium and B's are taken for calmness and rational thinking. (AND I THINK MOST AMERICANS ARE SEVERELY DEPLETED IN THIS AREA!!!)
